Knitting Courses with Sacramento Free School – I’ve designed and taught beginner knitting courses, Knit 1: Foundations and Fundamentals, The Hat Workshop, and The Sock Workshop. Courses and workshops include detailed syllabi, self-published instructional videos, self-published patterns, and, in the beginner course, donated tools and materials so that everyone can begin, regardless of budget.

Home Composting – I have recently completed a home composting class with Stop Waste, where we learned about home composting methods and maintenance. I have formerly worked with industrial systems, with aerated row composting of green waste, and wanted to round out my knowledge of smaller scale systems, from worm bins to backyard compost systems.
